About The Wedding
For our most recent event, we had the privilege of catering for the Simpson’s wedding.
What Did We Do?
On the 28th July, we spent the day prepping and serving food for Robbie and Rachels guests, although the winds didn’t make it easy! During setup, we were hit with 40-50mph winds which made the process a lot harder, but we powered through and managed to hold an extremely successful and enjoyable day for the happy couple.
We catered to 120 guests at Tip Top Venues in Newton Longville, with a menu that featured some of our favourite signature dishes, such as;
- Canapes of mini beef burger sliders
- Vegetable skewers
- Wood smoked baby back ribs
- Wood smoked pork and chicken in brioche buns
- BBQ’d white fish tacos with our signature pineapple and corn salsa
- BBQ halloumi wraps with greek pitta and homemade tzatziki
Although our favourite part was putting together the unique cheese wedding cake! The cheese tower was a fantastic touch a received many compliments from the guests. It also went down fantastically when paired with crackers and a glass of wine. All in all, we had a fantastic day and were really happy with the way everything turned out – despite the harsh winds!
