Description Of Event
Louise and Matt Bruce-Tresnan chose to have the most picturesque wedding in a beautiful eco-friendly venue, which had a gorgeous rustic charm. The venue was set in the scenic hills and stunning countryside of Devon, just 10 minutes away from Exeter. Even though the couple are originally from Amersham, their dream was to get married in the English countryside.

What We Had To Offer
The couple attended a tasting session with both Harp and Charlene, who helped them decide on the ultimate wedding menu.
What The Client Had
Weddings are all about feasting, so as soon as the wedding ceremony had finished, the couple chose an 80 guest Camembert and Crust Bread large sharing board. As the weather got a little harsh, with high winds and heavy rainfall, we opted to serve the food in the bar area of the venue, which was well received by many of the guests.
The main food was served using a buffet-style system, whereby one table at a time came to pick their dishes. This also went down a treat with the guest at Louise and Matts wedding.
The main menu consisted of:
- Boneless chicken
- Smoked pulled pork served in a brioche bun
- Seasoned fries
- Halloumi and red pepper
- Mushroom tacos (vegan)
We worked out of the kitchen located within the barn due to the bad weather and had our gazebo set up out the back for the BBQs.
